O’malley Peak is 5100 feet above Anchorage, and we take you up the ridge access to the mountain. This hike in the Chugach Mountain range presented its own challenges, and you’ll be with us every step of the way. How to get there:
From Down Town Anchorage
- Head east on W 4th Ave toward E Street
- Turn right at Gambell Street
- Continue on (Alaska Highway 1) AK-1 South on Seward Hwy
- Take the Old Seward Hwy exit toward Rabbit Creek Rd.
- Take Rabbit Creek Exit
- At stop sign Turn Left and Continue on Rabbit Creek Rd
- Turn right at Upper Dearmoun Rd
- Slight right at Canyon Rd
- Slight left to stay on Canyon Rd
- Slight left at Flat Top Ave
Park Fee: $5.00 per Car
