Hiked this trail three times. 2005, 2006, September 2 this year. It’s a good workout by the time you get to the 3rd saddle. First stretch is a bit uphill but manageable for just about anyone, even smaller children. the second section around Blueberry Hill gets a bit more strenuous, but at the right time of the year ( late August ) the blueberries are worth the effort. The last section is difficult with navigating around rocks and bolders. No nice easy path here at any pace. On my own I’ve gotten up in 45 minutes and down in about 30. With others it has proven to be a good hour each way depending on what condition everyone is in. Don’t go on a cloudy/overcast day. Part of the satisfaction of reaching the top is the 360 degree view from the top especially looking to the city and south. If you feel so inclined, carry a rock up from the parking lot to add to the pile surrounding the post at the top. Look for neon green circles on the last section rocks for the most direct route up.
