Stikine River Series - PART I
An adventure trip from Wrangell Alaska into B.C. Canada
If you’re looking for one of those Alaskan adventure trips into remote wilderness, then the Alaska Podshow and Alaska TravelGram have a trip for you!
We joined up with Alaska Waters, which is based in Wrangell, Alaska. We took their Stikine River river trip, which took us 165 miles up river from Wrangell, up the Stikine River, into B.C. Canada, and landing us at Telegraph Creek. You’ve got to visit their website to check out this boat we traveled on - just awesome! Anyway… The Stikine River full of history and while it feels as if time stood still, the sense of discovery is infectious as it seeps deep into your senses. It’s truely wilderness like you’ve never experienced in your life!
OKAY! So I couldn’t hold back!
Here is just a teaser of what’s ahead of you here on the Alaska Podshow. I am kicking off this adventure with a hike deep inside the heart of the Stikine up to Mess Creek. Following this segment, I will be releasing the trips in chronological order, so be sure to subscribe into the show via iTunes!

Southeast is on our itinerary and want to thank the Scott(s)
for introducing Alaska Waters. Bears is the ideal trip for us, but we’ll wait to see the other footage before we choose our own expience. I agree with Sarah the good ol’boys hiking around is a great vibe too too much fun.

@ Dan - Yeah Southeast was great, and hope to venture down there again. We’ve got some amazing stuff ahead and other trips north of Anchorage to look forward. Thanks again for joining in on the show!
@ Cathleen - Alaska Waters http://www.alaskawaters.com offers bear trips, we did not get to venture on that trip, but it looks really good! It was certainly the topic of conversation on the Stikine trip, so I know you’ll be happy. The whole gang at Alaska Waters is great!
@ Jason - Welcome back guy! Things sure have changed from a year ago, and it’s forever growing so stick around. Remember if there is anything you’d like to see, make a suggestion… We are taking note!
Thanks again for the comments!
