Stikine River Series - PART I
An adventure trip from Wrangell Alaska into B.C. Canada

If you’re looking for one of those Alaskan adventure trips into remote wilderness, then the Alaska Podshow and Alaska TravelGram have a trip for you!

We joined up with Alaska Waters, which is based in Wrangell, Alaska. We took their Stikine River river trip, which took us 165 miles up river from Wrangell, up the Stikine River, into B.C. Canada, and landing us at Telegraph Creek. You’ve got to visit their website to check out this boat we traveled on - just awesome! Anyway… The Stikine River full of history and while it feels as if time stood still, the sense of discovery is infectious as it seeps deep into your senses. It’s truely wilderness like you’ve never experienced in your life!

Here is just a teaser of what’s ahead of you here on the Alaska Podshow. I am kicking off this adventure with a hike deep inside the heart of the Stikine up to Mess Creek. How to get there:
From Anchorage
- Reserve a trip with Alaska Waters
- Alaska Airlines
- Book your trip from Anchorage to Wrangell, Alaska
- Reserve a room at Stikine Inn
If you might overnight at the Stikine Inn, tell Jake we said hey! The food is great!
- Alaska Waters will take it from here… ENJOY!!!
