Greetings!
Chena Hot Springs was a fun video to produce, and the response from viewers was great! Chena Hot Springs Resort was originally discovered in 1905, even today offers a variety of activities. I’d suggest a stay nothing less than 3 days in order to full experience activities like the Aurora Ice Museum, Tour the Chena Renewable Energy solutions, Greenhouse, and of course the Hot Springs!
We conducted an interview with owner Bernie Karl about his renewable energy, and takes us on a tour of the energy plant that makes Chena Hot Springs completely self-sustaining resort. Bernie has put Chena on the map and the innovation that’s coming out of this corner of Alaska is turning heads world-wide!
Once the show is up, I’d love to hear your thoughts. In my opinion, if we’re willing to drill over 10,000 feet for oil why can’t we drill for hot water?!
Thanks everyone for watching the show, and sending on your feedback! We’ve got some great shows coming up so be sure to keep subscribed if you’re not already.
Cheers!
Scott

Awesome! You definitely described Chena to a T! I was there a year ago visiting my little sister Mandy; the dog musher! Looks like you had fun…I’ll add this site to my favorites! Thanks for bringing back some good memories!

Hey Scott,
Loved the show. Really cool to see your great homestate from a personal point of view. The ice museum was out of this world. I would have never known that something like that was out there. My next trip to Alaska will have to include a trip to Chena. Thanks for the tour!
